Jianzhan, representative of black porcelain, is one of the eight famous Chinese porcelain. In Chinese tea culture, it is the only utensilfor tea and is regarded as the "holy utensilfor tea". Since it was produced in Longyao in Jianyang of Fujian province, it is therefore called Jianzhan.
